Frequently asked questions.
Do you offer psychotherapy?
While I have spend many years working as a psychotherapist, I currently do not offer any psychotherapy services. All of my services are purely for coaching or educational purposes and should not be used as a substitute for psychotherapy or other medical treatments.
Are you currently offering service in person?
Due to flexibility, cost, and convenience, nearly all of my coaching services are offered through phone or video conferencing. I can, however, travel to give trainings and workshops in person at a negotiated rate.
What is your rate?
I offer a variety of coaching packages at fixed and discounted rates. For individual or caregiver coaching, or DvT sessions I charge $75 per 50 minute session. I also have a limited number of sliding scale availabilities for those who may have limited resources.
Do you take insurance?
No. I am not contracted or associated with any insurance agencies. Additionally, I do not offer psychotherapy nor medical treatment of any kind.
What is your service area?
I primarily provided coaching and trainings to people located in North America, but I am able to provide coaching and trainings to anyone worldwide.
How long does coaching last?
Some people prefer short-term solution focused coaching, while others prefer to utilize coaching for many years. I have packages and pricing to suite any of your needs. The length of time we work together may depend on the challenges you wish to address. Typically, my sessions are 50 minutes in length meeting anywhere from 1 to 4 times a month. Coaching works best when sessions are consistently held. I don’t impose any time limits on our work and I am always open to dialogue about what is and isn’t working for you about our time together.
How effective is coaching?
Progress is unique to each individual and depends on various factors, such as the complexity of the issue and the level of commitment to the coaching process. While coaching can be challenging, it can also be empowering and transformative. With consistent effort and an open mind, you can expect to gain insight, develop coping skills, and improve your overall well-being. However, there is no guarantee that coaching will yield positive or intended results.
Is drama therapy psychotherapy?
Sometimes it can be, however I currently am not offering any psychotherapy. Any DvT drama therapy sessions with me are offered under my Developmental Transformation Credentialing. In my case, DvT drama therapy should not be considered a substitute for psychotherapy or other medical treatments.
